When it comes to coffeehouse cups of green tea, not all of them are created equal. Some are like movies with Ellen Page in them: quirky and unique, with a certain appeal to them that leaves you wanting more. Others, however, have too much or not enough sweetener, and are flat-out letdowns; still others are so terribly bad that you are left staring mystified at your cup, wondering if your server is this big of a douchebag in their personal life.
Being the awesome person that I naturally am, I thought of this feature while having a particularly bad cup of green tea at an area Starbucks. As such, I've decided to visit various locales in my area and farther away, reviewing how good (or, in some cases, laughably bad) each location's tea is.
The criteria I use is simple: I rate the texture, the taste, the 'general quality', and the level of sweetener found in the tea, with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst on a scale of 1 to 10. I then average the four ratings out and give the location in question a number and letter grade.
With all of that said and done, enjoy this list, and come back often; I hope to visit at least two places a week (or more, as time allows).
